As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will be responsible for administering medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. Windhorse is a semi-residential therapeutic community that uses a mindfulness and relationship-based philosophy in working with individuals experiencing health issues such as depression, psychosis and trauma. General Job Description: A housemate’s role is to co-habitate in a two-bedroom apartment with a client and spend around three hours per day together sharing a meal, going on a walk, being in conversation, etc. Housemates may be in school or have a part time day job outside the home of up to 25 hours per week, as long as it does not interfere with the weekly meeting schedule. A generous level of support and training is offered by our senior staff for this position—it is a great opportunity for those who feel an affinity toward psychology, counseling or social work and would like to gain direct experience in the field.
