Seeking part time AFH manager, experience in supervising a home preferred. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Hours can be flexible but must be available to meet the need of the home. This is a salary position of $2250 per month plus stipend per month for cell phone and gas. Any caregiver shifts or on call work will be paid extra at the regular caregiver shift or hourly rate. Job Description: Part-Time Manager – Adult Family Home- 15-20 hours per week Position Summary The Part‑Time Manager ensures high quality care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency in an Adult Family Home. The Manager supervises caregiving staff, coordinates resident services, maintains safety and comfort, and ensures the home meets Washington State licensing standards. Key Responsibilities - Supervise and support direct care staff: schedule shifts, mentor, ensure staff training is up to date. - Oversee resident care plans: collaborate with health care providers, family members, and staff to develop, update, and implement care plans. - Ensure compliance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC 388‑76) and Department of Social & Health Services (DSHS) rules for Adult Family Homes. - Manage facility operations: cleanliness, safety, supplies, equipment, meals, transportation, and infection prevention, menu planning and grocery shopping maintaining a strict budget. - Oversee financial/administrative tasks: budgets, incident reports, resident records, staff files, care logs. - Maintain resident relations: communicate with residents and families, address concerns, and ensure dignity and respect. - Participate in on‑call rotation or emergency backup as required. Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent. - Meets Washington State requirements for AFH personnel per WAC 388‑76‑10129. - Completion of AFH Administrator training (if required) or willingness to complete. - Valid CPR and First Aid certification. - Ability to pass Washington State background check. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Basic financial and budgeting skills. - Ability to work independently, problem‑solve, and stay calm under pressure. Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Washington or willingness to complete the training. Specialty training as required by DSHS (dementia, mental health, DDA, etc.) Preferred Qualifications - Experience in caregiving, adult services, mental health, or long‑term care. - Training or experience in dementia care, developmental disability, or specialized care populations. - Experience with nurse delegation and oversight of delegated tasks. Working Conditions - May perform physical tasks: lifting or assisting residents, carrying supplies. - Some evenings, weekends, or on‑call hours may be required. - Must be able to respond to emergencies and supervise during off‑hours if needed. Compensation & Benefits - Salary $2250 per month. Plus, regular caregiver shift rates for any caregiver shifts worked either scheduled or on call. Includes $50/month stipend for cell phone and $100/month for gas reimbursement. - Paid training and continuing education opportunities. - Some flexibility in schedule - Supportive work environment with focus on safety, dignity, and respect.

Design treatment plans/behavior plans to support and sustain change.  Establish criteria for discharge from services.
