Description

  We are seeking an energetic, dedicated person to fill a Clinic Manager position for our dialysis clinic in Wasilla, AK. We offer relocation assistance and sign on bonus!  The primary responsibilities of this position are: Plan, schedule, and organize work for efficient use of personnel and facilities. Direct the care and maintenance of the unit.  Coordinate the activities of the nursing staff and ensure the physician orders are carried out. Ensure the care plans are fulfilled and that unit charting and documentation is complete and accurate. Interface with patients and their families to provide instruction and promote participation in patient care. Maintain required clinic records, reports and statistics for administrative purposes: ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, objectives, QAI, Risk management, and infection control.  Manage various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisal, disciplinary actions, transfers, promotions, and scheduled time off.   *Please note that this is not an all-inclusive list of the responsibilities of the position. Education, Experience & Skills Required: Graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse program with current Alaska license or eligibility to obtain.  Three years dialysis experience preferred; 6 months dialysis experience required. Ability to exercise leadership skills to communicate effectively and manage the performance of others. Ability to understand and implement government standards. Strong belief in quality patient care and maximizing clinical performance measures for each patient. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
