Team T is a collective that works to support an inspiring member of the community. We’re seeking someone who can bring imagination and strength to help a challenged athlete live a fulfilling and healthy life. We hope you’ll join us and share your passion for wellness! T is looking for someone dependable to provide energetic, caring support in the water, at home, and in the community. He is an active person with disabilities who is motivated to train and participate in triathlons. T swims at an outdoor pool in Fullerton, CA, three to four times a week—on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. He also participates in adaptive horseback riding and rides a tandem road bike for up to 10 miles on Thursdays. T enjoys live music, museums, and going to the beach for open water swims or just to relax. Caregiver Position: If you're interested in the caregiving position, T needs someone comfortable providing a high level of personal care. Duties may include, but are not limited to: bathing, toileting, grooming, and physical support using a gait belt to help with stability. T is a 40-year-old male, weighing approximately 125 lbs. He has cerebral palsy, a seizure disorder, and is non-verbal. Training in personal care will be provided. Available shifts include evenings, weekends, and some weekday daytime shifts. Swim Support Position: If you're only interested in the swim support role, caretaking may not be required. However, availability to swim in Fullerton 1–4 times per week is essential. Swim sessions currently vary between 12–1 PM, 1–2 PM, and 2–3 PM, Tuesday through Friday, but we can be flexible based on your swim strengths and availability.
