đ Join KIDS NW â Exceptional Caregivers Wanted! đ Starting Wage: $23.00/hour Schedule: Tuesday to Friday: 9am - 2pm  &  Sunday:9 am - 12pm Location: Lebanon, Oregon Client Bio: This lively, affectionate individual is looking for a caregiver who can keep up with his energy while providing steady, compassionate support. The caregiver will assist him both at home and out in the community, encouraging socialization and helping him enjoy favorite activities such as music, singing, sensory play, swinging, spinning, water activities, and video stories. He also loves food, fruit chews, school buses, friends, his sibling, and time spent with people who care about him. He has a playful sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and a strong need for routine. To support him successfully, the caregiver should be calm, patient, and attentive, with the ability to âspeak his language,â understand his schedule, and ensure safety at all times â including using his vehicle safety device for escape-risk behaviors. Experience with higher behaviors is essential, and OIS training is preferred (or willingness to complete it). This role is hands-on, deeply personal, and designed to make a real difference in someoneâs life. đż All Things ADL (Activities of Daily Living): Providing support with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and mobility assistance. Youâll also help with mealtime prep, safe feeding, and encouraging healthy routinesâall while ensuring dignity and respect are at the center of care. đ Adventures & Outings: Supporting members in the communityâwhether itâs a walk in the park, grocery shopping, attending appointments, or grabbing ice cream. Youâll make sure activities are safe, enjoyable, and accessible. đ§ Life Skills & Confidence Building: Teaching and modeling skills like cooking simple meals, practicing money management, following step-by-step instructions, and strengthening social cues. Your encouragement helps members gain independence and pride in their progress. đ Personalized Care in Action: Following individualized care plans and adapting them to each clientâs unique needs. This may include using visual aids, step-by-step prompting, or behavior support strategies to guide positive engagement. đ Daily Check-Ins & Progress Tracking: Monitoring health and wellness, documenting medication reminders, noting behavioral changes, and celebrating daily wins.
