This is a temporary 12-week role covering maternity leave, with the potential to become permanent. The Medical Assistant will split time between our Huntingdon Valley (19006) and Abingdon locations. 💰 Pay: $20–$21 per hour 📍 Locations: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 & Abingdon, PA 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM ⏳ Duration: Temporary (12 weeks), with potential to go permanent Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for exams and procedures Record patient histories, vital signs, and other medical information Assist providers during medical examinations and minor procedures Maintain accurate and confidential patient records Perform basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for use Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and patient follow-ups Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred Certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures Compassionate, professional, and able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment 📩 To Apply: Please send your resume to mfesinstine@phaxis.com An Equal Employment Opportunity Employer
