ShareJob description Modern ENT and Face, SC is a small, independent ENT/facial plastic surgery practice based in the Gold Coast, Chicago. We take care of patients with a wide-spectrum of basic ear, nose, throat problems as well plastic surgery of the head and neck area. Our physician trained at University of Chicago and Northwestern University and has been in practice for over 15 years. We are looking for someone dedicated to the care of our patients, and a go-getter willing to work collaboratively with our team. An outgoing personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable, accepted and welcome in our practice is a must. Many of our medical assistants have gone on to become physicians, PAs and nurses, so this is a great starting point for your clinical career! This is a part-time job at our downtown Chicago office, 3-4+ days per week. Job responsibilities include: · Assist with running a busy clinic · Triaging patients and working with the team to keep the office flowing · Rooming patients, brief histories, preparing patients for minor procedures/scopes · Answering phones · Scheduling appointments through Practice Fusion, insurance precertification · OR scheduling and patient coordination for surgery Requirements: Candidate must be outgoing, attentive to detail, customer focused, with strong willingness to learn Good computer skills, with ability to troubleshoot IT-related problems (basic internet, fax) Highly motivated and interested in a healthcare career Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience. $21/hour
