About the Position We are currently seeking a part-time dental hygienist to join our team 1 day per week, with flexibility for more days (up to 3). Our previous hygienist worked Fridays, so ideally, we are looking for someone who can take over Fridays. However, Tuesdays or Thursdays are also available. Responsibilities include: Performing prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planing (SRP) Taking digital radiographs Assisting the doctor during recall exams Educating patients on oral health and hygiene Writing up exam and perio reports for referring general dentists Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records Appointment Timing: 1 hour: Prophy or Perio Maintenance (with X-rays and exams, if needed) 1.5 hours: Half-mouth SRP 1 hour: SRP for one quadrant Qualifications: Active Washington State Dental Hygiene License Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and communication skills Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude Experience with digital charting (Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train!) Here’s what you’d do: Tree Climbers are responsible for working in trees to perform general tree care including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection and tree removals.
