Trash Valet - 1099 Contractor - $23/hr

Job Title: Trash Valet (Contractor) Blue Mountain Property Services is Seeking an additional 1099-contractor to support our North County Operations. Territory includes Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Encinitas. Days of operation are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Bins must be rolled in/out on their designated day, but when they are rolled out is up to you. This role is a great supplement for part-time or full time workers. Pay: $23/hour, paid weekly on Wednesdays. Preference and additional pay opportunities for light junk hauling, if you have your own truck. TO APPLY: Respond to this ad with the following: - Resume - Availability - Type of vehicle you drive Job Description: As a Trash Valet Contractor, you will be responsible for providing trash valet services at vacation rental properties on a contractual basis. Trash Valet is a monthly service that ensures trash bins are rolled to the curb before city pickup, and back after. This helps maintain clean homes for our clients guests. Your main duty will be to move trash cans to the curb the day before the designated city pickup and return them to the house after pickup. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment will contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently move trash cans from homes to the curb the day before the scheduled city pickup, and return bins to designated place the next day following city pickup. - Ensure that all trash cans are properly placed at the curb and are easily accessible for the waste management service. - Adhere to the designated schedule for trash can placement, following city guidelines and regulations. - Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while handling the trash cans, taking necessary precautions to prevent spills or littering. - Communicate any issues or concerns related to trash collection or recycling programs. - Adhere to all relevant safety guidelines and procedures to minimize the risk of injury or accidents during trash handling. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy trash cans repeatedly. - Reliable transportation to travel between different vacation rental properties. - Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. - Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or additional tasks as needed. - Must be available to work on a contractual basis as a 1099 contractor.
