Join Our Team at Fausto – Tournant (Full-Time) Fausto, a warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant and wine destination in the heart of Park Slope, Brooklyn, is looking for a skilled and versatile Tournant to join our team! Our menu is market-driven, featuring elevated but approachable dishes, with a focus on locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. We pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and collaborative work environment where your passion for food can truly shine. What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for someone who loves working in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in delivering top-quality dishes, and has strong pasta experience. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and eager to be a team player. If you have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for food and hospitality, you’ll fit right in! About the Role: Full-time position (includes weekends) You’ll be rotating between the following stations: pasta, wood oven, garde manger, and prep Pasta experience is required — you’ll be expected to step into pasta service confidently This role also includes assisting with running service alongside the CDC and Sous Chef What We Expect: At least 2–3 years of experience in casual or fine dining (preferred) Ability to multitask under pressure while keeping a positive attitude Versatility and willingness to support wherever needed Commitment to quality, consistency, and teamwork Your Responsibilities: Set up and close down your station following our high standards Prep and execute dishes across multiple stations Assist the CDC and Sous Chef in managing the pace and flow of service Carry out opening/closing duties and assist with other kitchen tasks as needed Stand for extended periods (over 6 hours) and lift up to 50 pounds Maintain the highest quality in all dishes What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: $23–$25 per hour, based on experience Health and dental insurance packages Commuter benefits and generous dining discounts If this sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you!
