General Expectations • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture of Allora. • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, professional service at all times. • Maintain clean, organized, and cohesive workstations. • Operate with efficiency, respect, professionalism, teamwork, patience, and initiative. • Recognize areas for improvement and offer constructive solutions. • Understand and uphold restaurant programs, procedures, and policies. • Represent the restaurant positively in all communications and interactions. Qualifications • 2–4 years of fine dining service experience, with extensive food and wine knowledge. • Formal sommelier training or equivalent wine expertise strongly preferred. • In-depth understanding of the native grape varieties of Italy, the classification systems of major wine-growing regions within Italy, c classic Italian food and wine pairings, and the history of important Italian wine regions. • Strong ability to engage with guests and lead by example on the dining room floor. • Knowledge of service procedures, POS systems (TOAST POS a plus), and fine dining standards. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Cleanliness, organization, and the ability to work well in a team environment. • Must meet minimum legal age to serve alcohol.
