Seeking FULL TIME Prep Cook (SOMA / south beach)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Prep Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating memorable culinary experiences for our employees and guests during various events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a dynamic tech-driven environment. Position is only MONDAY to FRIDAY. Schedule must be flexible Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and execute a diverse range of culinary creations for breakfast and lunch services. - Reports to the CDC to execute menus that cater to specific dietary preferences and restrictions. - Ensure the highest quality and presentation of dishes, adhering to established standards and guidelines. - Manage food inventory, order supplies, and maintain a well-organized and sanitary kitchen environment. - Oversee food safety practices and compliance with health codes and regulations. - Assist in setting up and arranging food stations, buffets, and displays. - Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a cook. - Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus. - Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food presentation. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt to changing menus. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. - Food handler's certification/Serv-Safe Certified and knowledge of food safety regulations. - Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
