This job role is primarily an independent role: must be able to follow a list, read recipes accurately as to prevent waste and uphold a high standard for our house made goods. We are seeking someone who loves food, is reliable and wants to contribute to an upbeat, team-oriented environment. Our kitchen is clean and organized, with an easy to follow prep schedule posted for each day. Some items we make in house are cold drinks (iced tea, cold brew, lemonade), non-dairy milk, flavored coffee syrups, cookies, sandwiches, tofu and egg patties for sandwiches, and pre-packaged retail goods like loose leaf tea, cold brew coffee drinks and granola. Other prep duties include portioning ingredients for service like deli meat, veggie sausage and mixed greens. Prep team members also help prepare hot food for guests during peak hours, as needed. About the job: - Must be able to lift at least 50+ pound bags of dry goods like cane sugar, flour, nuts etc. - Must be capable of being on your feet for 8 hour shifts (outside of break periods). - Part time, 24 hours, 3 days a week: Monday through Wednesday from 6:30 am - 3 pm. - Pay starts at $18/hour plus tips.
