We are currently seeking an experienced Daytime Prep Cook and/or Prep Lead to join our dynamic kitchen team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  - Prepare meats, fish, sauces, condiments, aiolis, stocks, pickles and other food items to support daily operations. - Receive and inspect orders and supplies, ensuring that all items are accounted for and of high quality. - Organize and maintain refrigeration and storage areas to ensure a clean and efficient workspace. - Supervise and train dish/prep team to maximize daily output and enhance their skills and ensure quality standards are met. - Set up and organize cooking stations for service, ensuring all necessary items are prepared and ready. - Communicate effectively with the chef, general manager, bar staff, and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations. - Be prepared to assist with dishwashing and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards. Skills -Proven ability in food service management and catering operations. -Problem-solving, relationship-building, and product knowledge (as you learn our menu) are key for this position. -Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team. -Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. -Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in menu planning and execution. -Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. -Ability to work early mornings.
