We are seeking a team of 2-3 dedicated and skillful line cooks to join our new restaurant in Midtown Manhattan! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to menu planning. Responsibilities: Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Support the culinary team in menu planning and catering events as needed. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Participate in training sessions on food safety, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Skills in meal preparation, menu planning, and catering are highly desirable. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques.
