We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and support within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of culinary experience and front-of-house skills, ensuring efficient operations while delivering a positive guest experience. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers with inquiries, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. - Manage the Aloha and Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling. - Prepare food items in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards. - Assist in food service operations, including serving, bussing, and cashiering. - Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area and dining space. - Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to retail math principles. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery. - Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Qualifications: - Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in quick service or fast food environments. - Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred. - Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. - Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. - Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is highly desirable.
