Our services include: weekly meal delivery subscriptions, corporate lunch programs, personal chef services for high-net-worth clients, and special events such as dinner parties.
The Position:
The Operations Manager (OM) keeps our multi-faceted food business running smoothly day to day. This role is all about systems and logistics—perfect for someone who loves problem-solving, big-picture thinking supported by concrete action, and maintaining high standards of service.
This position works closely with the Owner, Head Chef, and other team members to make sure our operations align with our vision: delivering a high-touch, premium service. As part of the leadership team, the OM plays a key role in keeping the business healthy, scalable, and true to our values: quality, sustainability, integrity, and creativity.
This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities from ensuring workflows are followed and the production space is well cared for, to overseeing the team in a way that empowers them to do their best work. No two days are exactly alike— this position juggles multiple objectives while keeping things moving seamlessly.

Position Responsibilities:
— Contributes to the overall culture and business growth utilizing self-reflection and an ongoing commitment to self-growth, the growth in others, and the growth of the company.

— Fosters a collaborative team environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and high-performance standards.
— Heads hiring and team management.
— Oversees the daily operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
— Collaborates with the owner on operational needs based on projected growth and seasonal fluctuations.
— Ensures the facility is well maintained and serves as the main contact for facility vendors, such as the scheduling of regular equipment maintenance, facility is stocked of required items, back-office organization & functionality.
— Maintains compliance with local laws and regulations.
— Expands responsibilities and takes on new projects as it’s appropriate.
— Food safety manager certificate, or willingness to acquire

Experience:
— 3+ years in operational leadership
— 3+ years experience in a hospitality position
— Team management
Classification: Full time, in person with some remote
Compensation: $90,000 annual salary, growing over time with company performance
Benefits:
— 401k after 12 months with up to 3.5% match
— Health care insurance (company pays up to 50%), available at day 90

Physical requirements:
— Visual acuity to operate a computer and identify visual indicators for quality assurance purposes
— Finger and hand coordination necessary for computer keyboard operation, manipulation of ingredients, packaging materials, and office supplies
— Ability to lift 50 lbs; Ability to lift 20 lb overhead
— Ability to stand on feet for 8 hours
— Ability to taste and distinguish flavors to provide feedback on product quality evaluation
— Comfortable bending, reaching, twisting body
— Comfortable walking and moving in a physical environment where there are people working, cooking, and maneuvering through the space.
