Starrlight Bakery is a small sourdough bakery committed to serving high quality bread, pizza and cake to our neighbors in Bushwick and customers in surrounding neighborhoods. Job Description and Responsibilities: - Group shifts with a team of 2-4 people begin at 6:30am and end around 2:30pm - Mixing, proofing, stretching, folding, shaping, and baking a variety of loaves. - Hand-delivering loaves to nearby grocery stores and wholesale clients. - Representing the bakery and facilitating retail sales at local farmers markets. - Preparing large delivery orders for third-party deliveries. - Maintaining a clean and safe working environment: washing dishes, cleaning shared spaces, and adhering to safety rules throughout the bakery. - Receiving and incorporating feedback on baking technique and completion of routine tasks.
