Ocean's Eleven Casino is looking for line and prep cooks to join our team! Part-time/ Full-time opportunities available. The Cook will prepare soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other food items, as well as perform the following: - Prepare menu items according to standard - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Operate a variety of kitchen appliances - Read menu to estimate food requirements and procure food from storage - Cut and chop with commercial knives - Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements: - Ability to stand, walk and move around during entire shift - Ability to carry and/or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds - Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy - Must have at least two years of prior experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment - Must be available to work all shifts including graveyard, holiday's and overtime when needed - Ability to obtain a work permit from the Oceanside Police Department - Ability to obtain a Food Handlers Card - Must be at least 21 years of age - Pay $19.50-$20.00
