We are a growing restaurant group seeking experienced chefs with Latin flavors expertise (Colombian, Puerto Rican, Cuban) to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values consistency and quality, and enjoys collaborating with a diverse staff. You’ll work closely with our Operations Manager and Human Resources to ensure smooth kitchen operations, while also bringing creativity, leadership, and passion to the team. What You’ll Do • Lead, inspire, and train the kitchen team, fostering growth and motivation. • Work the line and ensure food is executed to company standards. • Update menus and create specials. • Organize walk-ins and maintain structured kitchen stations. • Manage inventory, place orders, and monitor food and labor costs. • Stay current on culinary trends and apply them thoughtfully. • Ensure compliance with Health Department regulations and company quality standards. • Maintain composure and focus in a high-volume environment. What We’re Looking For • Proven experience with Latin cuisines (Colombian, Puerto Rican, Cuban). • 3–5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen. • Strong leadership skills: hiring, training, and scheduling. • Hands-on cooking skills and a passion for culinary excellence. • Experience with purchasing and inventory management. • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills. • Valid NYC Food Handler’s Certificate (required). • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
