LoZo Gallery is looking for an Intern with a background in African Art, Web Design, and Sales while assisting with daily online gallery operations. Intern hours & dates are flexible based on your schedule, but it is expected that the intern will be available a minimum of 30 hours a week during business hours. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assist with maintaining and curating the gallery, processing art sales, participating in consultations with clients and designers, handling artworks for display/sale/storage, assisting with events and marketing, photography and photo editing, and email campaigns, assisting with research, providing administrative support, restoration, and perhaps even assisting in an art show. However, the principal role will be to research, identifying, and placing online the contents of a 20-foot container of African art. Benefits of working with the LoZo Gallery, includes wearing multiple “hats” and responsibilities will provide the practical intern experience that helps build the foundation of a strong resume. Minimum Requirements: • Fine Arts degree, or experience, writing proficiency, detail oriented, able to multitask. • Web design experience is advantageous. Interns will receive a 1099 contract, a gas stipend for travel, as 5% commission on sales. The internship lasts for three months with the possibility of extension. The role requires both artistic finesse and technical precision, with the ability to manage complex projects and maintain consistency across thousands of assets under fast-paced deadlines.
