I'm a 38-year-old disabled designer and journalist looking for a part-time COVID-safer care worker to assist me 2–3 days per week at my home in Granada Hills (north San Fernando Valley). IHSS-registered a plus! This is a mellow, supportive work environment with lots of downtime; ideal for freelancing creatives, students, or anyone who wants steady hours in a low-stress setting. Built-in time off during summer and major holidays because my mom, who helps with my care, is a teacher. Shifts are typically 2.5-3 hours long and flexible within the hours of 7:30am-5pm. Right now, I'm looking to fill the early morning shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and am always looking to add folks to my backup roster. Ideally, I'm seeking someone who can commit to the role for at least the full school year (September 2025 to early June 2026). Bonus: Occasional extra paid shifts are also available with my small business, helping produce adaptive intimate wellness products. This could include light assembly, packing orders, and in-person vending events. $20/hr. Attending and participating in client meetings and working with our Digital Producers to plan how to achieve client goals through creative but proper design. Collaborating with our copywriters, SEO team, developers, and other teams to establish the vision of the project and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Preparing design files in order to properly hand-off to developers. LoZo Gallery is looking for an Intern with a background in African Art, Web Design, and Sales while assisting with daily online gallery operations. Intern hours & dates are flexible based on your schedule, but it is expected that the intern will be available a minimum of 30 hours a week during business hours. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Assist with maintaining and curating the gallery, processing art sales, participating in consultations with clients and designers, handling artworks for display/sale/storage, assisting with events and marketing, photography and photo editing, and email campaigns, assisting with research, providing administrative support, restoration, and perhaps even assisting in an art show. However, the principal role will be to research, identifying, and placing online the contents of a 20-foot container of African art.
