At Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue, we save dogs from high-risk shelters before they’re euthanized and place them into loving foster homes while they wait for their forever families. We need long-term fosters for medium/large breed dogs like Brownie. Found abandoned in a dumpster near San Fernando Highway, Brownie came to us in urgent need of medical care and likely had been used as a bait dog. Thanks to love and care, he's now healthy, safe, and ready to thrive. Brownie is outstanding in the home, wonderful with kids, and excellent with people. Due to his past, he MUST be the only dog in the home. He’s a sweet, affectionate companion who loves walks, hikes, tug-of-war, and just being by your side. He’s one of our foster favorites—a truly loyal and kind soul who just needs a safe, loving place to continue healing. 🐶 Why Foster? We’re a fully foster-based rescue — we don’t have a facility. That means we can’t save more dogs unless we have more fosters.
