Full-time position available to cover evening shifts possibly including weekends. Develop, implement, and supervise life skills and support groups. Create and manage case plans that are responsive to the needs of shelter participants. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, or a closely related field or in lieu of a degree, equivalent related experience in human services with a minimum of two years’ experience in shelter services. Special Santa Program Assistant in Palmer. Recurring seasonal position available to assist with volunteer coordination, fundraising and execution of program functions under the direction of the Program Coordinator. Hours will vary per week and position will be from September to January. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of successful work experience with event coordination. Substance Use Counselor in Wasilla for the Behavioral Health Treatment Center. Full-time position available to provide substance use treatment services in an outpatient program. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and one-year full time work experience in chemical dependency treatment, or a degree in a related field (human services, social services, social work, addiction, psychiatric nursing or psychology) and one year of full-time work experience in chemical dependency treatment. Must possess the ability to become a Qualified Addictions Professional within three years (achieve a minimum certification as a CDCII, BHAII or NCACI). Individuals are 18 years and older and their needs vary from high functioning, fairly independent Individuals to those who have total physical care needs or behavior support needs. Most Individuals participate in a school or day program during the day, although Family Home Providers are still responsible for being available during the day if needed. You will receive support from Enriching Lives to assist you in providing services in your own home such as initial and continuing education, the support of a multidisciplinary team, 24 hour on call professional support, and overnight relief support. Enriching Lives staff will visit you and the Individual regularly to provide support and ensure that the Individual’s goals are being met. At a minimum, you must have 1-2 spare bedrooms, a safe and pleasant living environment, reliable transportation, a high school diploma or GED and a designated backup Family Home Provider. All adult members of the household and frequent visitors to the home must have a clear criminal history and a DMV record without any major violations. Enriching Lives is highly committed to making successful matches and placements in the home of people who become Family Home Providers with our agency. While there are never guarantees for placements, our success rate is extremely high.
