Benco is searching for an Assistant Program Coordinator that can be flexible with their schedule and able to work weekends. This position includes working 30 hours on average of Direct Support Professional duties and 10 hours on average of Assistant Program Coordinator (APC) duties each week. Our Benefits: • Competitive starting wage ranges from $19.62 to $24.07/hour. o This position is capped at $32.53/hour. • A raise is given every 6 months for the first 2 years and continues annually o (Until the employee has reached the cap for their position) • Paid training (12 hours required annually) • Vacation and sick time accrual beginning upon hire • Medical, vision and dental benefits, as well as life insurance and a retirement plan Schedule: • 40 hours per week: Thursday – Sunday Qualifications: • Be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a valid license and good driving record. • Experience or sincere interest in working with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities within a setting promoting community integration, normalization, and treatment of all people with dignity and respect. Education & Experience: • A high school diploma or GED is required at the minimum. • A minimum of 6 months’ experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities or two years of college or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Some supervisory experience is preferred. Our mission is to support the inclusion and participation of individuals with IDD in their respective communities throughout their lifetime. Role: We are looking for a Home Manager for our domiciliary residential home in the Punchbowl area. The manager will live on-site and have their own quarters within the home. Responsibilities include training, educating, and supervising direct support staff. The Home Manager is charged with ensuring that residents have a safe, protective, and normal environment that allows for growth and development, privacy and confidentiality, and a sense of belonging and family. Job Type: Full-time, exempt Work Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible work shift, including weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays. Must be able to respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis.
