We're a campaign trying to put a progress, anti-war, Medicare for All candidate from Champaign-Urbana on the ballot next year for Congress. We need to collect 5,000 signatures before November 2 to get on the ballot. We're looking to hire petition circulators to collect signatures from registered voters in Illinois. We are willing to pay $2/signature for the first 500 signatures, at which point we will verify collected signatures. This will first begin with an in-person or video interview. Please do not apply if you intend to simply forge signatures. We will be verifying each petition with the same verification software used by the State Board of Elections, and will be able to immediately verify whether signatures are valid. Join the Healthy Youth Program (HYP)—a dynamic initiative that empowers adolescents and young adults ages 12 to 25 through education, prevention, intervention, and treatment focused on substance use and overall well-being. At Elevate Youth Services our outpatient substance use treatment program (HYP) takes an integrative, mind/body approach that focuses on the context within which behaviors are occurring. We help young people uncover and heal their underlying issues. Our work is relationship-centered, built on trust, and rooted in meeting youth exactly where they are—both literally and emotionally. As a HYP Counselor, you’ll provide individual and group counseling, case management, and compassionate support to youth participating in HYP treatment services, as well as those connected with our Housing Opportunity Program (HOP) emergency shelters and the Basement Teen Center. About the Company: The Arc in Hawaii is a non-profit organization with 70 years of history in Hawaii. We provide both residential and day services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our mission is to support the inclusion and participation of individuals with IDD in their respective communities throughout their lifetime. Role: We are looking for a Home Manager for our domiciliary residential home in the Punchbowl area. The manager will live on-site and have their own quarters within the home. Responsibilities include training, educating, and supervising direct support staff. The Home Manager is charged with ensuring that residents have a safe, protective, and normal environment that allows for growth and development, privacy and confidentiality, and a sense of belonging and family. Job Type: Full-time, exempt Work Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible work shift, including weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays. Must be able to respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis. Oversees the maintenance of resident records, including current medical information, day program details, emergency information, progress notes, and data collection sheets. • Implements menus that provide balanced and nutritious meals for residents. Ensures that staff prepare meals appropriately, especially for residents with special needs for food consumption. Does all the shopping for the home. • Interacts with parents, guardians, interdisciplinary team members, and other related persons as needed. • Ensures all policies of The Arc in Hawaii and annual work clearances are met by all staff. • Reviews and approves staff PTO requests and timesheets in a timely manner. • Drives company vans to transport residents.
