We a private school in Alameda providing Preschool/Daycare, after-school, summer camp and weekend programs. We are looking for staff who are passionate about working with kids and want to pursue a career in child education, with many opportunities for promotion and other career advancement. This is a full-time or part-time position. Compensation rate based on teaching experience and availability. 401 K and matching plan is provided. Bonus based on performance as well. Health insurance. Mandarin Teacher Requirements: Native Mandarin Speaker Supervise and teach Students in the Afterschool program. Experience in teaching Mandarin in K-6 grade Patient, energetic, responsible and fun AA degree above Other skills (ie. arts, music, experience working in Montessori school) are plus. PRESCHOOL Teacher: Preschool teacher or associate teacher permit. 3. STEM/Art teacher Coding, Robot, Physics, performing arts, fine arts, dancing, English, Math or more. Our S.T.E.A.M. program focuses academically on the following areas within each of our eponymous initials: -Science: exploration, discovery and scientific tools for understanding the world -Technology: enjoying and understanding the powerful tools and instruments of the technological world -Engineering: hands-on problem analysis, design, implementation, optimization & collaboration -Arts: expression, communication and appreciation in isolated and integrated applications -Mathematics: representation & numeracy, logical reasoning and inquiry/persuasion/proofs We also encourage you to offer ‘enrichment’ classes once a week in any personal skills you may have (yoga, martial arts, music, dance, sewing, etc..) to families who can sign their kids up if interested.
