PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement and lead age-appropriate after-school activities for Kindergarten-5th grade children in a school setting. Assist in the supervision of 30 – 65 children in both large and small group settings (Ratios are typically 1:15). Actively engage in games, enrichment activities, STEAM projects, and recreational activities with the children. Use positive behavior (PBIS) guidelines and strategies to support and respond to student behaviors. Provide active supervision and observational awareness skills during the entirety of the shift. Document and communicate concerns and problems in a timely manner. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Maintain a clean and organized space at the ATB site; be respectful of the school rules and expectations across school settings. Communicate effectively and frequently with staff, students, and supervisors. Attend all staff meetings and Inservice Days that are held 2-4 times per year.
