WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A TEACHER…
…a candidate who is a collaborative team player, filled with joy and initiative, is open-minded and a life-long-learner - bonus points for having experience with, or foundational understanding of the Reggio Emilia Approach. While education and experience are of course important to us, we are primarily seeking a teacher who loves the work of early childhood, who can comfortably navigate the busyness of the classroom setting, and who is patient, warm and nurturing by nature.
Please browse our website before applying, and familiarize yourself with our About Us page to learn about our play-centered program, child-led teaching philosophy, and our team to ensure our approach aligns with yours. If this all sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you, so please send your resume to josephine@westendvillageschool.com!
