Assistant Teacher

Overview: Seeking both full time and part time RBT candidates to work with individuals on the autism spectrum. Maui Bridges seeks a dynamic selection of individuals interested in working full-time with young adult clients in both a center setting and community or home settings. Full-time hours with weekly shifts between 9 am and 530 pm Monday through Friday are available as well as part time shifts. Ideal candidate will be able to lift 60 pounds, have an interest in working with minimally verbal clients and be able to work as a dedicated therapist. The ideal candidates will work in collaboration as part of a team with other team professionals, ensuring the successful implementation of individualized program objectives. Supervision and Training is provided. Candidate should possess a valid driver’s license, be able to pass a background check and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities: The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will: • Provide one-on-one services to individuals with autism. • Support individuals with autism reach their fullest potential. • Services are provided in either a center setting and/or community-based setting. Qualifications: Qualifications for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must have a high school diploma • Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities • Minimum one year of verifiable work experience preferably in the Behavioral field • Strong assessment and organizational skills • Ambition to grow and advance beyond current position • work well in a team center environment We offer: • Medical / Dental • Paid time off
