VirtuCrypt is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, operate, and scale our global Kubernetes infrastructure. Our clusters span multiple datacenters and deployment stages (development, QA, staging, and production), with production systems operating in FIPS and PCI-validated environments. Responsibilities Manage and automate RKE2-based Kubernetes clusters with Rancher. Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible. Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking, routing, VLAN, VIP, and firewall issues. Integrate Kubernetes clusters with the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki). Ensure production environments meet strict security and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and platform improvements. Requirements 5 years proven expertise in Kubernetes administration (RKE2/Rancher experience strongly preferred). Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation. Strong background in networking across complex, multi-datacenter environments. Familiarity with VMware infrastructure (vSphere/ESXi).
