Description

Our client, an alternative investment manager, is seeking a Receptionist in New York, NY. They are looking for a candidate who is quick on their feet and detail oriented to assist with their growing office and it's needs! The hours are 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional flexibility as needed. This role follows a hybrid schedule, one day remote and four days in their beautiful office space on Park Avenue. Responsibilities: * Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, handling calls, and maintaining reception and conference areas * Coordinate conference room scheduling, video-conference setups, catering orders, and meeting logistics * Oversee mail, packages, deliveries, and office/kitchen supply management to ensure smooth daily operations * Maintain communal spaces such as the kitchen, guest offices, and workstations, ensuring they are clean and fully stocked * Provide administrative support to junior deal team members, including travel coordination and expense processing * Assist visiting staff from other offices and support special projects as needed Qualifications: * 2+ years of relevant reception or administrative experience, preferably in a professional services environment * Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Professional demeanor with strong discretion and a team-oriented mindset * Bachelor's degree preferred Compensation/Benefits: Up to $68,000 base salary Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) plan with company contribution Generous PTO Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
