Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in office software. Duties • Utilize computer literacy to perform data entry, create sales orders and manage correspondence with customers and brokers/account managers. • Answering customer emails • Assist in filing and organizing documents to maintain an orderly office environment. • Operate office equipment such as printers, copiers, and phone systems effectively. • Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely. Requirements • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook. EDI and ERP system preferred but not required. • Excellent phone and email etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments and with customers. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Prior experience in an office setting is preferred but not mandatory. Hours Monday through Friday 5 – 6 hours/day with flexibility.
