Temporary Customer Service Representative Location: Boston, MA - Onsite (5 days/week) Duration: 3+ months Compensation: $21/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Potential for Permanent Hire: Yes ($40K annually) About the Role: We are partnering with a well-established company in the insurance industry to find a Temporary Customer Service Representative for an immediate opening at their Boston office. This is a fully onsite role located steps from South Station, offering a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional, fast-paced environment. While classified as customer service, the role has a strong administrative focus and involves supporting internal operations, handling policy updates, and managing customer inquiries. Key Responsibilities: Manage inbound calls from customers, agents, and third parties with professionalism and courtesy Accurately enter and update policy data and customer information in internal systems Process policy changes and support internal administrative projects Research and resolve customer or agent inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed Respond to questions related to policy coverage, billing, and general service Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Deliver accurate and timely follow-up to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a solution-oriented mindset in all interactions Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or administrative support a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
