We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to support our office and operations team. We are a busy yacht repair company based out of Shelter Island and are seeking someone who can keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, thrives on structure, and has a strong eye for follow-through. Main Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the operations and admin department Assist in job scheduling and calendar coordination Organize and transcribe work orders, notes, and job forms into the digital system Data entry for estimates and project details into internal databases Support parts/material sourcing by helping track orders and organizing vendor communications Assist with customer communication as needed via phone and email Maintain and update internal records, job logs, and staff assignments Qualifications: 3+ years of office or administrative experience (preferably in a service-based or technical environment) Comfortable reading and transcribing handwritten documents with accuracy Familiar with Google Suite Confident communicator, clear, courteous, and professional in tone Strong task management skills with the ability to prioritize and follow through without supervision A supportive team player who follows direction and adapts easily Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM compensation: $20+ (depending on experience and proficiency) benefits: 5 days Sick Leave and 5 days PTO accrued after probationary period employment type: Full-Time experience level: Entry to Mid-Level location: Shelter Island, San Diego How to Apply: Please respond with your resume in PDF or Word format ONLY.
