About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of a 10-unit apartment building and a mobile home park. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, organized, and capable of managing both preventive and emergency maintenance tasks. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general property systems • Oversee lawn care, landscaping, and exterior cleanliness • Handle minor repairs (painting, flooring, appliances, fixtures, etc.) • Supervise and coordinate outside contractors for specialized work • Conduct regular property inspections and maintain safety standards • Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and emergencies • Keep maintenance records and supply inventories Requirements • Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or related trade • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Ability to live onsite preferred but not required Compensation • Competitive hourly wage or monthly salary $15 to $20 • Housing allowance / discounted rent • Flexible schedule

Looking for someone to go around to farm and residential properties and take photographs for insurance underwriting and loss prevention purposes. Work area is up to an hour and a half in any direction from La Crosse. Work times are flexible as you would form your own route and schedule. Pay is per property ranging from $12-$40 depending on requested types of photos and information. Should be able to do 15-20 in a day or 7-10 in a half day. Most people who do this for me figure they make $25-$35 per hour for their time now that they are proficient.

Conduct walk-through of the entire property to ensure everything is in working order; if not, take the appropriate steps for correction. Prepare for inspections. Schedule outside contractors for projects, if necessary. Attend staff meetings as required or requested. Assist at other properties as needed within a 100 mile radius Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required to meet essential requirements of job responsibilities Being on-call for emergency service, rotating with other staff members Other responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager or Property Manager.
