Resident Manager Opportunity — North Bay Apartment Community We’re looking to add a dedicated, proactive, and personable Resident Manager to join our team at a residential property in North Bay. If you enjoy hands-on property management, take pride in maintaining a well-run building, and value creating a welcoming environment for tenants, this could be the perfect role for you. What You’ll Do: Maintenance & Repairs: Handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general handyman tasks. Conduct regular property inspections to catch issues early and coordinate with contractors for larger jobs. Tenant Support: Be the go-to person for residents’ non-emergency questions, concerns, and maintenance requests. Respond quickly and professionally to keep tenants satisfied. Unit Turnover: Assist with cleaning and prepping units between tenants, including minor repairs and conducting move-in/move-out inspections. Common Areas: Ensure lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms, and shared spaces are clean, safe, and inviting. Vendor Coordination: Schedule and grant access to outside vendors and contractors for bigger projects. Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergencies, notifying the Property Manager or appropriate services as needed. Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, tenant issues, and supply inventories, reporting regularly to the Property Manager. Rent-Related Support: Help with rent notices and tenant communication as directed. Security & Compliance: Monitor building security and enforce community policies. What We’re Looking For: Handyman Skills: Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or general maintenance is strongly preferred. Dependability: You’re responsible, reliable, and can manage daily property needs with minimal supervision. People Person: Excellent communication and customer service skills — you’re comfortable interacting with tenants and vendors. Organized & Detail-Oriented: You keep accurate records and stay on top of maintenance and tenant needs. Compensation: Partial rent credit on a one-bedroom apartment, reflecting approximately 40 hours of work per month.
