About Me: I run a small bookkeeping & payroll services business with a stable base of long-term clients. I’m looking for a reliable independent contractor (1099) to help with ongoing bookkeeping and payroll tasks. This is not an entry-level position — I need someone who already has real-world bookkeeping experience and can work independently. Responsibilities: • Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online • Process payroll reports and timesheets (including interpretation of handwritten records) • Prepare and review client invoices • Assist with month-end reconciliations and reports • Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly Qualifications: ✅ Minimum 3–5 years bookkeeping experience (not just coursework) ✅ Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop & Online ✅ Strong understanding of A/R, A/P, payroll, and reconciliations ✅ Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines without heavy supervision ✅ Local candidates (530 Area) strongly preferred for handling physical paperwork. Pay: $25-$33 per hour based on experience This role will provide bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll processing services to small/medium size businesses in a variety of industries including construction, contractors, professional service providers, restaurants and retail.
