Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Prepare, analyze, and verify annual reports, financial statements, and other records, use generally accepted accounting and statistical principles to assess financial condition and facilitate financial planning. Finance Associate Department: Finance Forever contract Location: Midtown, Manhattan Compensation: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour Position Summary The Finance Associate is responsible for executing day-to-day financial functions and supporting financial reporting and compliance in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role involves general accounting, grant accounting, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting for the Foundation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; nonprofit and/or grant accounting experience preferred. Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Salesforce and Tipalti is a plus.
