About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounting Supervisor / Office Manager to lead accounting and administrative functions for our construction-based operation. This role requires someone with a strong accounting background, a deep understanding of construction workflows, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of the company’s financial and office operations. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Finance: - Manage full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) - Handle monthly and year-end closing processes and reconciliation - Prepare job costing, budgets, and financial reports - Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls - Collaborate with external CPAs for audits and tax filings - Maintain and manage accounting functions in QuickBooks (required) - Utilize Procore (preferred) or other construction software for job cost tracking and billing Payroll & HR: - Process payroll through eBacon (preferred) or similar construction payroll software - Ensure compliance with certified payroll, prevailing wage, and union reporting requirements - Maintain employee records and manage onboarding processes Office Management: - Oversee day-to-day office operations including administrative support, scheduling, and vendor management - Serve as the main point of contact between accounting, operations, and field teams - Help develop and streamline office and financial procedures Required Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction industry - Proven experience with QuickBooks (required) - Familiarity with construction-specific accounting and project management software; Procore preferred - Knowledge of Miter/ Tsheets or comparable payroll platforms for construction - Strong Google Sheets, Google Pages skills and experience with mandatory digital file management - Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking skills Preferred Qualifications: - Prior supervisory experience in accounting or office management - Experience supporting field operations in a construction environment - Familiarity with lien releases, subcontractor documentation, and job costing best practices NO RECRUTERS, NO AGENCIES
