Whats it all about: The Accounting & Payroll Support role is responsible for supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and assisting in the payroll process.
Schedule: regular full-time position involving 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Overtime and
weekend hours may be required seasonally.
Job Duties
Assist in the Account Payable process. Enter, route, review and reconcile invoices for approval and class,
post and process payments through various systems.
Maintain professional relationships with vendors including negotiations, resolving inquiries and
discrepancies, updating records and lists.
Generate, prepare and process Accounts Receivable invoices and statements.
Assist in the receipt, posting and reconciliation of AR payments.
Support the Payroll process including timekeeping, reconciliation and data entry.
Communicate with employees via phone, text, email, and in-person to facilitate timekeeping collection and
support.
Manually and/or electronically process, organize and maintain records and file systems
Maintain vendor and/or customer information, records, and related documentation in QuickBooks and other
software applications.
Support general office operations, including answering phones, directing calls or messages, and providing
administrative support to management, supervisors, and staff.
Maintain positive and professional relationships with employees, customers, vendors, and team members.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, reporting any incidents and completing
necessary documentation.
Qualifications
Possess personal integrity, positive attitude and strong organizational, problem-solving and communication
skills. Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or payroll processes.
Associate's degree or higher in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is preferred; a combination
of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
Experience in the agriculture or equipment manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a professional and positive demeanor; ability to work effectively in a
team environment.
Ability to comprehend, speak, read, and write both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Knowledge of general accounting and business software, with technical proficiency in QuickBooks and
Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to use a smart phone, text message, email, various apps and aptitude to learn
new applications and software as needed.
Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening
