Description

Our busy real estate property management office is looking for a very well experienced administrative assistant in charge of accounts receivable. Ideal background for this full time position is full charge bookkeeping. Our office is "old school" and we need someone who is familiar with ledger cards. We are looking for someone to update the position. We are seeking a "numbers person" with years in similar bookkeeping positions. The office is quite busy, with a full time staff of three. And since the office staff is small, usual tasks such a filing, answering phones and messaging, lending a hand when possible, etc. are integral to the job. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is necessary, and much of the work is paper and pencil. Telephone collection is also required in this position. Preparation of some legal notices and the monthly delinquency report will be the responsibility of this position, once several months of training has been provided. This is a full time position: Monday - Friday from 9 - 5, plus one Saturday each month. Starting compensation will be no less than $50K per year, and will depend upon prior experience. There will also be a review after about 90 days during which the salary could be adjusted. The position begins September 1, 2025; however, there could be an earlier start. If this describes you, we would love to see your resume, which will include clear contact (phone and e-mail) information. Selected candidates will be notified for phone interviews.
