Rye Country Day School is seeking a part-time Accounts Payable Specialist beginning August 2025. Specific responsibilities of this position include: Receive, review, and verify invoices and check requests. Enter and upload invoices into the system Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries Assist with month-end AP account reconciliation Year-end 1099 filing Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Desired qualifications: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting Accounting software: Blackbaud and Paymerang a plus. Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word desired. Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
