As our Tax Manager at ICBD’s Fort Lauderdale HQ, you’ll help build and refine the tax function for a multi-state, multi-entity portfolio—driving compliance excellence, improving processes, and informing strategy with rigorous projections and research.   This role requires expertise in compliance, reporting, and tax forecasting, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to federal, state, and local jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills to manage tax provisions and engage effectively with our internal financial control team, external preparers, and investors.   Key Responsibilities Manage the tax department’s compliance operations, including tracking deadlines, organizing workflows, and ensuring timely reporting. Review deliverables prepared by external tax advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Utilize internal tax processes and resource allocation to manage efficiency within tax compliance and investor reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly tax projections for the organizational forecasts and estimates. Assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of Accounting for Uncertain Tax Positions, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. Support long-term financial planning. Coordinate communications with taxing authorities and auditors, addressing queries and resolving issues. Conduct tax research and present well-supported conclusions for implementation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly desirable. 5+ years of experience in partnership and corporation income tax provision and/or return preparation and review working as a dedicated tax professional. Knowledge in ASC740 accounting for income taxes, statutory accounting and transfer pricing. Knowledge in U.S. domestic income tax provisions for corporations, partnerships, LLC, Single-Member LLC, adhering to ASC 740 tax accounting standards, §174, §168K Knowledge in U.S. domestic income tax provisions for trusts and individual. Experience with using tax research software such as CCH AnswerConnect.  Private company tax experience is a plus.  Proven experience in partnership, LLC, Single-Member LLC, Trust, and individual tax compliance and reporting. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with internal groups and external preparers, auditors, taxing authorities, and investors. Excellent organizational skills to oversee workflows and manage internal and external deadlines.
