Early-build, head-turning 996.1 Build number 3646 from the early iteration of the 996.1. This has a build date of 8/98. These are the most desirable 996 models, as they were hand built on the same assembly line as the outgoing 993, used some of the same parts and are known to be better than the 996 models that came after them. Obviously, not stock, most all done by the previous owner. See below for the features. Note it is fitted with a Getty Designs ducktail lid, but it does come with the original lid as well. Yellow headlights -- this is just a film over the lens, easy to remove if you want or need to. Runs and drives well, no known issues other than the CEL that comes on due to the custom exhaust and high flow cats. I will supply a code reader with the car and you can clear the CEL yourself as needed. Outfitted with wheel studs, can be converted back to lugs. Everything is in good shape. This is a fun car to continue customizing and make it how you want. If I were keeping it, I'd put a different exhaust on it -- it does have an aftermarket setup on it. I am moving and can't take this with me. Note that it is located near Walla Walla, not in Seattle. New AOS, thermostat and water pump, coolant and brake systems have been flushed and serviced within the past year.
