1976 Porsche 912E all original, with only 89,450 original documented miles. This 1976 Porsche 912E is one of approximately only 2,100 examples produced during this single model year run by Porsche in 1976. I say confidently that this Porsche has these original low miles because the car comes with a large and detailed stack of original work order invoices and receipts. The only void in these invoices occurs during the first few years of this car's life, from 1976 to 1981. The only other void in invoices related to this Porsche occurs over the most recent 10 years of its life from roughly 2014 until now, 2025, during which time it has been under our ownership and has been just sitting in our garage, and therefore no work has been done on it during that period of time. The engine has however been started on a monthly basis during that recent period of time. This Porsche is originally and Oregon car, and that is where we purchased it in 2014. This vehicle has clean Oregon Title in our name, with current Registration valid until 11/30/2025. This vehicle is being sold from our residence in San Jose, California. We have residences in both Oregon and California, and we towed the Porsche down from our place in Oregon to California, where it has been stored indoors at our home in California. The folks we purchased it from in Oregon took great care of this car and said they stored it indoors all the time as well. All photos in this ad are recent, taken during August 2025. I can see no signs of rust on this vehicle, not on the body or underneath. This vehicle has its original engine and manual transmission drivetrain. This Porsche has vintage Oregon license plates front and back, I just removed them for the ad photos. The interior of this Porsche is in great condition with its original Sport Seats, see ad photos. This Porsche is a power sunroof car. This Porsche comes with its original tool kit with various tools in it. This Porsche has a new: Interstate battery, brake reservoir cap, and Bosche fuel pump. This Porsche comes with a black front-end bra or mask that says Porsche in white on it. Negative aspects of this Porsche: The paint is what I believe to be its original Porsche Guards Red color, and it looks great from a short distance. However, there are a couple areas on the paint surface that show slight roughness and small hairline crazing or checking as I believe they call it. Please refer to my close-up photo in the ad of the back right quarter panel. Also, lots of small chips in the paint across the front air dam where the front license plate attaches. I do not believe however, that this Porsche has ever had significant body work, other than cosmetic paint fixes, and I don't believe it has ever been in an accident. The fuel gauge doesn't work in this car, I'm not sure if it's just a fuse, or if it's the sending unit or the gauge itself that is the problem. This Porsche can surely use a tune up, including a valve adjustment, which is standard maintenance for these types of cars. This Porsche is due for an oil change. The brakes on this Porsche are soft, and need servicing, by having the brake lines bled, and it likely needs new brake pads as well. Purchase requirements: The price is $34,000 FIRM for now, and it will only be advertised on Craigslist. This price is very fair, given the low miles and originality of this Porsche.
