1971 AMC Ambassador Brougham - $6,500

This car is currently in Arizona, and thought I would post it here in the Kenosha Kadillac capital of the U. S. This car has original paint and vinyl top and the 360 motor. Carb was rebuilt and timing chain replaced. Starts, runs and stops smoothly. Odometer shows 26K, may have rolled over, But I doubt more than once. Seats were redone with the original vinyl out of SMS fabrics. Carpet shows some wear, headliner is perfect, seatbelts a little dirty as they were kept under the seats for years. Vinyl top was repainted, doesn't look too bad, really, but a little sloppy where it meets the stainless. Paint looks great from 10 feet, but is a bit thin here and there, but nice enough to leave it be. No dents. I put brand new 15" tires on it a couple months ago. Wheel covers have AMC stickers, but haven't verified if Ambassadors ever came with 15" tires. What doesn't work: Radio, a/c not connected, gas gauge. Rollup windows work well, no cracks in the glass. This car is an excellent boulevard cruiser in it's current as-is condition. I'm willing to talk about delivery options, take more pictures, answer more questions, what have you. I grew up 10 miles from where these Ambassadors were made, back when they were everywhere. This one is super-clean, Arizona rust-free. Thanks for looking. Call or text will get the best response.
