Are you a volvoista? Me too, but it's time to let go of my 1981 Volvo 245 Station Wagon. Great condition, it is fun to use and I would love to keep it but I have too many cars. I bought it from a family who had it for many years and passed it down and the son was using it to drive his babies around recently. They did a great job preserving the car overall but i found it did need some work. I have receipts for $2600+ of work done during the past year that includes: new transmission mount, new motor mount, clutch adjustment, new timing belt/tensioner/front engine seals, new center carrier support, new U joint, new center muffler, new belts for water pump, alternator, power steering, new rear end seal, and restored the missing headliner. This car has a ton of swedish style, I was not excited about the paint color but my son thinks it's great and he's a lot cooler than I am. Has current tags, a clear title with my name on it, everything works. Good tires, car is very dry inside, does not seem to leak and doesn't mind getting rained on if you need to park it outside. Five speed with overdrive is a joy to use, this car travels smooth and quiet on the freeway, easy round trip to Eugene in a hot minute and lots of cargo space. Nice new Pioneer car stereo/receiver head unit and big newer speakers in doors.
