Job Purpose : The floor technician will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums, and you will wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to: - Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas and other areas. - Moving furniture before and after cleaning. - Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping and waxing floors. - Drying floors using air movers. - Maintain equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition. - Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals. - Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; reports needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions requiring outside vendor services. - Other routine maintenance duties as assigned; MECHANICAL EXPERIANCE A PLUS. Requirements: • Possess valid DL and vehicle • Be able to pass Motor Vehicle Request and provide proof of auto insurance, so our insurance can place you on our work policy during business hours: No driver can have any of the following in the last 5 years: o More than 3 moving violations or two accidents o No suspension or revocation of DL o No single violation involving reckless driving, DUI, racing or fleeing an officer or accident. • Ability to be punctual and have regular attendance. • Ability to be on feet for 8-10 hours; squatting, bending, reaching, twisting, etc. • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. • Be able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as being able to work independently. • Positive, upbeat personality, and friendly, with superior interpersonal skills. • Willingness to maintain confidentiality of clients.
