After very careful examination, and numerous jobs completed on this truck over the course of many years, I have seen no signs or evidence of any bodywork or re-painting of any kind done by the previous owners. The two rear fiberglass fenders were banged up when purchased, so those were repaired to make them solid, functional, and somewhat presentable again. The truck exterior does have a number of minor cosmetic dings, scrapes, and blemishes, but have left that for the next owner so they could see those issues for themselves, and deal with as desired. Otherwise the body is in great condition. Very solid, with excellent and original paintwork. The bed cap is a new, custom ordered, mid-rise, built by Jeraco, in Milton, PA - USA. They color-match to the factory paint code of the vehicle, so it looks perfect in every way. It was originally installed - as usual by these dealers - using just c-clamps, but for additional integrity, and to have more attachment points inside the bed, it was further secured with 3/8 inch eye bolts - grade 8 - forged, galvanized, and made in USA. Prior to installation of the bed cap, new Dee Zee bed rail caps were fitted to both sides. The truck bed floor was thoroughly cleaned, prepped, and re-painted, before installation of the new heavy duty Dee Zee rubber bed mat, and a new Dee Zee tool box up front. The truck has both a front bulkhead, and also a tailgate aluminum diamond plate protector. This truck runs and drives great - quiet, smooth, and strong.
