Rhyne Erde is a skilled musician with over two decades of dedication to his craft. His musical journey began with a deep love for rock-and-roll before he delved into the intricacies of Jazz at SRJC. He studied under the mentorship of esteemed drum masters Chuck Brown and Pete Magadini who have taught drummers from legendary bands such as, Santana, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, and Diana Ross. Embracing a diverse range of genres including rock, country, jazz, blues, and funk, Rhyne's style is a fusion of musical influences. Throughout his career, Rhyne has shared stages and collaborated with icons such as Grammy award winner Sam Bush, Tom Constanten of The Grateful Dead, Greg Errico of Sly and the Family Stone, and Lester Chambers of The Chambers Brothers. Some of his most recent projects projects include Electric Tumbleweed, One Grass Two Grass, Eric Long, Lester Chambers & Friends, The Highway Poets, The Space Orchestra, and The Jugtown Pirates. These musical endeavors showcase his ongoing passion for musical exploration and innovation. Beyond his artistic endeavors, Rhyne is deeply committed to teaching. Willing to travel for lessons.
